Clinton County, Volume I, is being reprinted in a revised edition. This 512
page, hardbound edition has been substantially revised. Over 100 pages have
been added to the orginal volume. The author has added new material,
additional family names and has made corrections. This volume covers the
earliest history up to about 1800 of that part of Cumberland County from which
Clinton County was formed in 1836. It contains family histories and charts of
most of the county's early settlers.
